Saturday & Sunday, 8am-5pm

The Family Recreation & Fitness Center is proud to offer fitness classes—FREE for all members!

 

BASIC AEROBICS:

Tuesday through Friday, 6am—7am

This class focuses on cardiovascular fitness and improves strength, flexibility, and endurance.  Basic Aerobics is perfect for getting in shape and increasing your stamina.

CORE STRENGTH:

Wednesday & Fridays, 9—10am

This class is perfect for improving your balance and overall body strength.  Exercise balls are used to promote good posture and help relieve tension.

STRETCHING & FLEXIBILITY:

Tuesdays & Thursdays. 9am—10am

The perfect answer to daily soreness and stiff joints!  Using easy-to-use exercise bands and natural movement, our instructor will guide you to a more limber and flexible body.

BASIC YOGA:

Friday, 6pm-7pm / Saturday, 9am-10am

Beginning with a wonderful time of stretching and gently warming up your muscles and joints, this class then moves on to a mixture of breathing techniques and aerobics.

WEIGHT WATCHERS:

Every Wednesday from 5:30-7:30PM

DVCC is now home to the Dayton Valley Weight Watchers Group!  Meetings provide a motivating and informative environment led by a leader who has lost weight with Weight Watchers and kept it off. Each weigh-in is confidential. Plus, you can subscribe to eTools, the Internet companion for meetings.  Join us today!

Every class is designed around you and your abilities...they are perfect for any age or fitness level!  Fee for non-members is $5 per class.  A 10 class punch card is available for $35 ($15 savings).

A variety of healthy drinks and snacks are available for cash purchase at the Family Recreation & Fitness Center.
